Species Clause
- You may not have two Pokemon on your team with the same National Pokedex number.
Legal Dream World Clause
- You may not use a Pokemon's Hidden Ability if it has not been released.
Uber Clause
- Pokémon in the "Uber" tier list are not allowed to be on your team. These Pokemon are: Arceus, Blaziken, Darkrai, Deoxys (all Formes), Dialga, Giratina (both Formes), Genesect, Groudon, Ho-Oh, Kyogre, Lugia, Manaphy, Mewtwo, Palkia, Rayquaza, Reshiram, Shaymin (Sky Forme only), Thundurus (Incarnate Forme only), Tornadus (Therian Forme only), White Kyurem, and Zekrom
- The item Soul Dew may not be present on any Pokemon.
Sleep Clause
- You may not put two of your opponent's Pokemon to sleep simultaneously.
-- Self-inflicted sleep via Rest or Effect Spore does not trigger this clause.
-- Yawn may not be used to pseudo-haze if Sleep Clause has triggered.
Evasion Clause
- You may not use any items (such as BrightPowder), moves (such as Acupressure), or abilities (such as Sand Veil) which increase a Pokemon's evasiveness.
OHKO Clause
- The moves Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill, and Sheer Cold may not be present on any Pokemon.
Suicide Clause
- If both players are down to one Pokémon each, you are not allowed to use a move that KOs both Pokémon to force a tie.
-- This clause may not apply, depending on the circumstances of your battle. Please notify Plato if this happens.
Moody Clause
- The ability Moody may not be present on any Pokemon.
